Admission to school
St. Gregory’s Catholic Primary School accepts new pupils from all religious denominations and cultures; you do not have to be Catholic to be a member of the St. Gregory’s community. However, the admissions criteria gives preference to baptised Catholics. Details can be found in the St. Gregory’s Admissions Policy (PDF) document.
For Reception Admissions in September 2017 you will need to apply at Kent County Council on line. Online applications open at 9am on 7th November 2016 and close at midnight on 16th January 2017.
A Supplementary Information Form (Parts 1 & 2) will also need to be completed, it can be found at the end of the admissions policy document. St Gregory’s Admissions Policy (PDF). This should be accompanied by any evidence of religious denomination and birth certificate. It should be returned by 16th January 2017.
In Year Admissions
All applications for ‘In Year Admissions’ must be made directly to school. For ‘In Year Admissions’ please complete the In Year Casual Admissions Form (IYCAF) and a Supplementary Form found at the end of the Policy document. Once complete both forms should be submitted to the school office. We will process your application and write to you.
St. Gregory’s has a KCC maintained nursery on site for children aged from 3 years. Entry criteria to St. Gregory’s Primary School do not apply to the Nursery. Applications for a nursery place must be made at the school office, not to KCC. Please note that a place in the Nursery does NOT guarantee an automatic place into the Reception class for any child.
