St. Gregory’s is a one and a half form entry primary school, with Nursery, for boys and girls aged 3 to 11 years. It is a primary academy within the Kent Catholic Schools Partnership (KCSP), that welcomes children from Catholic and non-Catholic families alike. The School’s mother parish is Ss. Austin and Gregory in Margate. The school radiates a warm and friendly atmosphere where children feel secure, content and happy to learn. St. Gregory’s is very proud, and thankful, to be situated within beautiful, generous grounds on the outskirts of Margate with a decidedly rural outlook over fields. As a school, we acknowledge that we are part of a wider community involving home, parish and the school itself. The diversity of our cultural backgrounds enriches the life of the school and we strive to foster stronger links in all these areas, so that all groups and individuals feel welcomed and valued. It is always a pleasure to welcome parents of prospective pupils to St. Gregory’s and you are warmly invited to visit us during the day so that you can see for yourselves that St. Gregory’s is a truly wonderful school!
Please note that a place for your child in the St. Gregory’s Nursery does not guarantee a place for your child in any year group, including Reception, in St. Gregory’s Catholic Primary School. You must apply for a place in Reception following the local authority admissions procedure. Please contact Kent County Council Admissions and Transport Department to apply for a place in Reception. You must also complete, however, a supplementary form, only available from St. Gregory’s School office.
